Asokwa, Kumasi
A community school that has quietly been doing the work for years.
Solid Hope International School was founded on a simple idea: that children in Asokwa deserved a school that took their education seriously and cared about them as people. In a neighbourhood where many schools come and go, Solid Hope has stayed — and that consistency is something we're proud of.
Over the years, we've built a reputation as a school where parents feel genuinely welcome, teachers stay long enough to really know the students, and results are achieved not through pressure but through consistent, caring teaching.
A lot of schools are either too strict or too relaxed. We've worked hard to find the right balance. Students at Solid Hope are held to clear standards — for behaviour, for effort, and for how they treat others. But those standards are enforced with respect and warmth, not fear.
Many parents tell us they chose Solid Hope specifically because of this balance. They want structure for their child — but they also want their child to be happy. We think those two things should go together.
Discipline with care
Clear rules, firm expectations — always enforced with respect.
Community roots
We belong to Asokwa. Many of our staff live here. This is personal for us.
Academic honesty
We measure ourselves by where our students actually end up — not just exam scores.
Hope
Every child who comes through our gates has a future worth investing in. We believe that.
