2026/2027 Academic Year

Enrol your child.

Spaces are limited each year. Here's what you need to know to secure a place at Golden Pen.

How to apply.

1

Visit or call the school

Come to the school in Abuakwa during school hours and ask to speak with someone about admissions. We'll tell you exactly what's available.

2

Collect and complete the form

Pick up an admissions form from the school office and return it with all required documents. Make sure everything is complete before submitting.

3

Confirm and pay

Once your application is reviewed and accepted, pay the relevant fees to secure the place. We'll let you know everything you need for the first day.

What to bring.

  • Child's birth certificate (original + photocopy)
  • Recent passport photographs of the child (2 copies)
  • Last school report (for transfer students)
  • Parent/guardian ID (Ghana card or passport)
  • Completed admissions form from the school

Common questions.

What age does KG start?

We accept children from age 3 for KG 1. For Class 1 and above, placement is based on age and previous schooling.

Do you have space in all classes?

We keep class sizes intentionally small — which means spaces are limited. Apply early to avoid disappointment, especially for KG and JHS Form 1.

Can my child transfer mid-term?

Yes, subject to availability. Contact us to check if there's an opening in the class you need.

What are school hours?

Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm. Students should arrive by 7:40am for morning assembly.
