Kindergarten to JHS
High standards, consistent results. Here is how we run academic life at New Oxford.
We offer the full Ghana Education Service curriculum from Kindergarten through JHS Form 3 — with a clear focus on preparing students to perform well, not just to attend.
We build the right habits from the very beginning. Early language development, phonics, and number sense are introduced in a structured but enjoyable environment.
KG 1 & KG 2
Classes 1–6. Content is taught to be understood, not memorised. We check comprehension regularly, not just at end of term, so no child gets quietly left behind.
Classes 1 – 6
Forms 1–3. This is our strongest level. We run a rigorous BECE preparation programme — timed mocks, detailed review sessions, and regular teacher-parent communication on student progress. Our 100% pass rate is not marketing. It is the result of genuine preparation.
100% BECE Pass Rate
We follow the GES curriculum, but we don't treat it as a ceiling. Our teachers are expected to go deeper — to explain, to question, to revisit difficult topics until students genuinely understand them.
Regular internal assessments throughout the term allow us to identify weaknesses early. A student who struggles in October should not be failing in November. We act quickly when we see a problem.
We also communicate honestly with parents. If a child needs extra support, we say so. If a child is excelling, we let parents know that too. Transparency builds the kind of trust that makes parents keep coming back.
We're happy to walk you through what we teach and how your child would be placed. Just get in touch.
