2026/2027 Academic Year

Enrol your child.

Spaces at New Oxford fill up quickly. Here is exactly what you need to do to secure a place.

How to apply.

1

Call or come to the school

The first step is to speak with us. Call ahead or come in during school hours. We will tell you exactly what is available and what to expect.

2

Complete and return the admissions form

Collect the form from the school office. Fill it in carefully and return it with all required documents. Incomplete applications slow the process.

3

Placement assessment (JHS applicants)

Students entering JHS Form 1 directly will sit a short assessment. This is not a test to be failed — it helps us understand the student's level and place them appropriately.

4

Pay and confirm

Once accepted, complete payment to confirm the place. The admissions office will walk you through fees and any payment arrangements.

What to bring.

  • Child's birth certificate (original + photocopy)
  • 2 recent passport-sized photographs of the child
  • Most recent school report (for transfer students)
  • Parent/guardian Ghana card or national ID
  • Completed admissions form from the school

Common questions.

What age does KG start?

We accept children from age 3 for KG 1. Class placement for older entrants is based on age and prior schooling history.

Why do spaces fill up quickly?

We maintain manageable class sizes. We do not grow classes beyond what allows for proper teaching. Families who apply early secure places; those who wait sometimes miss out.

Can my child transfer mid-term?

Sometimes, depending on availability. Call us and we will check whether the class you need has space.

What are school hours?

Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm. Assembly is at 7:45am. Punctuality is expected and taken seriously.
